HCG Food Delivery Day
Hi Everyone, Last Monday before the rain began, Jessica and her girls, Richard and I gathered vegetables from most our gardens and donated all of it to the Archway Food Bank. We picked, and cleaned about four large boxes on your behalf. Thanks to everyone who donated. The Food Bank was very grateful and many families had fresh vegetables that would have just gone to waste.
On Tuesday, August 27 at 5:30 pm we will be having our annual Garden Fest in Highland Community Garden. There will be a barbecue with farmer sausage and buns plus lots of vegetables of course. (What a way to use up your zucchini ) Please bring a plate of food to share with others. This is an event for gardeners...
Hi Everyone, We are looking for someone who would lend us their tractor for a few hours to move the compost back into the bushes at the end of the growing season (September or October).
