Hoses and other garden suggestions

Hello All Gardeners

1. Did you know that hoses have a memory, which is not the same as ours but that's why hoses need to be wound up carefully each time you use them in the garden. It has come to our attention that some hoses have been left lying on the ground, in a mess which is difficult for the next gardener to use. If you or your children use the hoses it is up to the gardener to check that everything is properly stored away before he or she leaves.

2. Please supervise your children more carefully when they are in the garden as damage to the sunflowers has been reported.

3. Finally, if there are other gardeners in the garden when you leave please check with them before you turn the water off. Thanks Wendy (on behalf of the HCG executive)
